God intoxicated drugged

an outcast dervish whirling

dancing the macabre

swallowing

first the sun then

the moon plunging

worlds all of them

into a darkness unlike anything

ever visited upon

by earth and heaven

where the only light

was from his flame like breath

blazing snakes that sprang

from his open eyed mouth

to burn pillage destroy and

dart back in like a retreating tongue

till it was time

to repeat the devastation

seeking revenge

for god knows what.
