The Macaroni-Pasadena Express / Hiromi Suzuki

Early in the morning at 5am,
I saw you off in a cloak over your pyjamas.
Clockwork snowflakes dancing at dawn.
On the platform waiting for a train to the suburbs.

“The rapid train …
bound for 7-Eleven
… is now arriving.”

On the Ancient River
No, on the Ocean
No, on the Earth
No, beyond the Universe,

An asteroid named Pasadena exists.
Take a peek through the macaroni.

Ma Caroni!
(Marvelous!)

Goodbye Terra,
Our Lovely Planet.
