the transient tale of,
a soft heartbeat,
clinging to the oasis of life;
cocoon of warmth;
haven of solace,
a spirit afloat;
in the darkness
weaving colourful threads of life
each strand a story, strikingly beautiful;
a vibrant life of love foreseen.

a twist in the tale;
the spinning wheel forced to cease
in a flash the flickering flame of life
mangled and tangled;
a tender Bundle,
tossed unkindly
from the nestle.
by callous hands;

a fragile array of petals plucked and crushed,
the crimson juice of life drained through
leaving a story untold.
