Inside the house I wonder,
down as I look upon this skin.
The man that knocks and whispers,
tells of me “to act, Ophelia,”
but in a daze,
my gaze remains
on the peeling skin,
the gaping flesh,
and maroon color stains
that of which I can no longer decipher
what is of nature and what is not.
