Large Hadron Collider / Bobo

You were bigger than that,
bigger than everything –
hidden away and humming far underground waiting to be awakened.

And I liked how you smashed me to smithereens:
how l lived two lives
simultaneously –
the real one
and then,
separately in parallel time,
you.

And the way that you changed,
when you wanted:

an angel,
an example,
in public –
white winged and feathers –
and
then,
privately,
insatiable and limitless –

my fingers in your mouth,
your black wings
outstretched,
unfettered.

Northern English poet often to be found exploring issues of love, lust and desire. Likes lyrics that sound like poems and poems that sound like lyrics.  Constantly chasing the simple black and white ink drawing feel of a Basho haiku infused with the coloured confetti explosion of an REM album.
“Write hard and clear about what hurts” as Hemingway said.
