Anniversary Issue 2026: Intimate Anatomy
Deadline: 15 January 2026
What is inside and what is outside?
What belongs to you and what belongs to me—inside you, outside me, between us?
For our anniversary issue, we invite you to explore the shifting borders of the body and the self, the delicate frontier where intimacy becomes form.
Intimate Anatomy asks you to turn your attention to the curves, the crevices, the mucous membranes, the folds. To the sacredness of the hidden. To the soft, vulnerable architectures where a light burns deep, where humanity brushes against divinity, where the fleeting grazes the eternal. We want to contemplate with you the regions that pulse beneath speech, under clothing, behind gesture, the fragile anatomies only our fingertips can truly read.
Reveal what you can. Conceal what you must. Write, photograph, draw, record, whatever you want.
We welcome: texts, photographs, images, interviews, poems, prose, fragments, essays, experiments, and any work that presses up against the edges of form.
Send your work to RIC Journal (email: ric.thejournal@gmail.com) for consideration in our 2026 anniversary issue.
Deadline: 15 January 2026.
