Affection / Pearl Tang

You were peering into reams of light
lost in the colour of thoughts
Your musings pooling on the trampoline
briefly stirred by a passing breeze

A fleeting foot… soft and clammy …
presses its toes against mine
in quiet communion whispered by capillaries

If affection is measured in the weight of small feet,
then I must be very loved.

Pearl is an expressive arts therapist who works with neurodivergent persons. She is curious about the intersection between trauma, art, philosophy and therapy. An artist at heart, Pearl reads, wanders and sometimes draws.
