Two poems / Jean G. Burset Catinchi

Night Walk

God glistens his teeth
of fireflies and stars.

Pequod Blues

Do not call me Ishmael:
the whale is but a bleached flea
on a colossal cobalt spine.

Jean G. Burset Catinchi (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1993). Author of Herrumbre (Riel, 2019).

Pequod Blues is translated by Anna Ferrer Anechina.
