A short ghazal on lemons / Erika Mishra

In gardens of gold, lemons’ zest unfolds,
Their tangy tales in citrus secrets hold.

Amidst green leaves, a sunlit crown they wear,
A symphony of sour, sweet, and bold they bear.

From lemon groves, a fragrant breeze cascades,
In every slice, a taste of sunshine pervades.

When life gives lemons, make sorrows sweet,
Their golden essence, a remedy complete.

So cherish lemons, their tangy delight,
In every sip, find joy’s purest flight.

Let their citrus dance awaken your soul,
In lemons’ embrace, let happiness roll.
