Like the broken design of
yarrow stalks thrown and
scattered by
the shifting days,
this eager way I cast
for fate, guiding moonbeams
toward you at midnight.
Down, the cryptic dice of longing! To wish
for what befalls
these hexagrams
changing is once, twice
linked between now
and the wanting of
something else.
