Two Parts by Matthew Turner / Tristan Foster

We sit on steps by the sea
Dusk hangs low
Sky wet paint
Moon blue
Like we woke at dawn
You feel
In your hands
Space, time
In your dreams
I come, go
Black waves break to white
Sweep toes, heels, shins
I stand to leave
Brush sand from my skin
You feel
With your hands
For mine
Turn my back
Turn in loops
My hair in the wind
Like I run
My breath takes
Knocks
Slips
Night moves on you
My hair in the wind

Like I run
