We sit on steps by the sea
Dusk hangs low
Sky wet paint
Moon blue
Like we woke at dawn
You feel
In your hands
Space, time
In your dreams
I come, go
Black waves break to white
Sweep toes, heels, shins
I stand to leave
Brush sand from my skin
You feel
With your hands
For mine
Turn my back
Turn in loops
My hair in the wind
Like I run
My breath takes
Knocks
Slips
Night moves on you
My hair in the wind
Like I run
