The book she is reading
has an ink stain on a page.
In ultramarine.
To the sea.
An image of herself who is
smiling at the window on the train.
The image she loves is,
beautiful, intelligent, little shy to strangers,
but a pleasant person once she talks.
Lovelier than the first lady of head of state,
smarter than the winner of a beauty contest,
so, she is superior to all women, she thinks.
Looking out of the window pensively,
she will die without knowing the proverb.
《The sun reflecting off the glass
makes her greedy and lecherous.》
Proverb from a strange land deep in a manhole.
